I cannot see my messages

Description:

I have successfully installed nchat on Debian 12 and setup my telegram account,
I can't see my messages but I can see those of my contacts, my messages are sent correctly but in the client I see them invisible.

How to reproduce it:
nchat --setup

Environment: i3

• Version: v4.38
• OS / distro: Debian 12

Update: Same problem happens with WhatsApp

It was because of my color theme, the messages appeared but because of my color theme my message were the same color as the background.
