To install this, make sure that you have the linux-headers installed. Then

sudo make
sudo make install
modprobe pIIIcache

then add a line 

pIIIcache 

in your /etc/modules file so that this modules is loaded automatically at boot

If you suspend or hibernate your laptop, you must remove and reload the module. 
Find which script does it for your particular linux distribution
