It doesn't rely on an overall exact-syntax regex anymore, instead validating as it parses. This was motivated by the desire to handle the IPv4-in-v6 wrapping syntax, which is now _mostly_ handled. (More to come!)
Also fix a couple bugs.

This PR adds a new class
EndpointAddress, to be a proper class to hold info about network endpoints. I also ended up fixing IP address parsing to more consistently handle the IPv4-in-v6 wrapped form.
