What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Install MacPorts Python 2.5
2. Setup using instructions
3. GClient sync

returns:

implies that with the installation of a patch to SSL, python25 will work ok.

There is no implication that installing the SSL patch will make this work with python2.5 (http://code.google.com/p/dart/wiki/PreparingYourMachine). The actual link that implies this is on the chromium mac build instructions (http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/MacBuildInstructions). Patching a couple of py files with:
from future import with_statement
Will cause other snags in the build system (tools/build.py os.path.relpath()).

Revision 708, http://codereview.chromium.org/8394006/, fixes the compiler problem. Area-Build is still needs attending / new owner.
