Part(s) of the page you would like to see updated

Since there is currently not any flag that will add a package to packages.yml and package-lock.yml WITHOUT actually installing dependencies and because of the changes in dbt-labs/dbt-core#9169:

  • remove any text or code examples that refer to --dry-run

Additional context

This issue could possibly be resolved by #4526.
