An open-world head-to-head tank fight with simple AI, terrain, and advanced control system in Unreal 4

Game Design Document (GDD)

Rules

  • Player can move anywhere in the terrain
  • Player and AI start with finite health and ammo
  • Each direct hit takes away health
  • The last player standing wins

Requirements

  • Sound Effect: gun firing, explosion, barrel moving, engine sound, etc
  • Static mesh: primitive for now
  • Texture: maybe visual flare later
  • Music: background music to create tension
