deegree web services shall support Java SE 8 as a execution environment. The code shall compile with Oracle JDK 8 and the services shall run under Oracle JRE 8 and Open JDK 8.

Runtime support is validated. See https://github.com/tfr42/deegree-docker/tree/feature/deegree3_4/deegree-webapp-tomcat for Dockerfile with Tomcat 8.5 on Java 8.
Docker Image available from Dockerhub.

Travis-ci has removed Oracle JDK 7 from the supported list of JDKs, see http://www.webupd8.org/2017/06/why-oracle-java-7-and-6-installers-no.html
