=========================================================== Quest for the Royal Jelly

1/ Introduction 2/ Instructions 3/ Tips 4/ About Deen Games 5/ Credits

1/ Introduction

Quest for the Royal Jelly is a "Shards" (story-based adventure/RPG-like) game from Deen Games. It details the travels of Ibrahim, summoned to a distant land on a quest -- a quest to seek out the self-proclaimed divine Royal Jelly!

2/ Instructions

Play the entire game with keyboard (mouse doesn't do anything). Controls are:

  • Arrow keys to walk around
  • Space to select a menu item, talk to a person, and generally interact with the game
  • Hold left-shift to run
  • Press escape to view the main menu. It allows you to view your health (HP). You die if you reach 0HP. You can also save your game and view your inventory from here.

3/ Tips

  • Save often. This helps if and when you die.
  • Expect to die. It's not a pushover of a game.
  • Be curious. There are many things to help you in your journey.
  • Pay attention to audio cues -- especially in the forest.
