No pressure, I know this is not paid work! I would take a swing at a PR to try and help, but I have no idea where to start for adding that.

Version 3.0.0 is now available as a beta and will be released shortly after some intensive testing. This already includes a basic pinch zoom function. However, there is still room for improvement and I am still working on the missing pan functionality.
