Describe the bug

I have 1Gb internet and get around 800mbps speed while running MSFS. If I don't run the mod, the game runs fine and has no connectivity issues. However, as soon as I start the mod and then start the game with the mod running, throughout the flight, I keep getting low bandwidth errors and the bing map functionality in the game turns off. I have to go into the game and re-enable the bing world map and photogrammetry.

I am running Map Enhancement Pro - Google Map 1 (PRO)

MSFS version:
Steam MSFS 2020

Mod version:
8.0.29.0

Device ID
B2PNDRY6TJD9RN7NA8TNEV1ZH8VT6G1GRXM7J9SS8SHQPHMGSDG0

Screenshots

I don't have screenshots for this error

Additional context
I have already reset my hosts file and restarted my computer and the hosts file was then automatically populated by the mod.

Same issue here. Once I emptied the files from the hosts file, all went back to normal

Hey, I did all those items, and nothing seems to be fixing it. It happens mostly on flights over the ocean or any water body.

This Post (#389 (comment)) had the same issue and there was no solution that was given.

I have tried Google Maps Pro and Mapbox Pro same issue with both.

@derekhe Hey really need a fix for this. Its making the mod unusable. I have tried all the fixes you have mentioned. It only happens on the google maps 1 pro. It doesnt fail on the google maps 2 pro. Clearly it is something with the mod and not my wifi settings. So please provide a fix for this asap.

Google Maps 1 Pro has 4 servers and Google Maps 2 Pro has only one server. It is definitely better to use Server 1. Therefore this issue should be fixed rather than finding alternatives. So please if you can resolve the issue rather than finding alternatives, it would be much appreciated.

If you want to speak with me separately on discord or something to resolve this issue, im very much open to that. Please do let me know. Thanks

So why is this issue happening though?? And specifically with only Google Maps Pro 1?

It loads completely fine until a certain point after which it stops then

This is the only place I could find in your code that throws a 500 error. Seems like it has something to do with internally in the application rather than the network settings on my device.

Is there a specific DNS you suggest to use? Currently, I'm using Google's DNS 8.8.8.8

Let me know if that is the issue. Or exactly why does your application throw a 500 error.

Yes

That is worse, as we are paying for that Pro service. If it gets flagged by Google, that means Google thinks it is malicious or spamming. So, in this case, it's a lot worse now. Please get a proper license from Google if you are charging us $30 for the service.

It is not about the refund, because as others I love the product, But at the same time if you are charging us for the product on the basis of the PRO, I think you should take care of the backend in the best way to avoid such things happening. We can not control how fast we are accessing Google Maps that is under the control of the application. So I think you should fix that. I feel like Google Maps is the better map, which is why I got the PRO version. So that's what I think. Everything is controlled by the application, not us.

Ok, I'll try that, if it works I'll let you know. Otherwise, I'll get back to you for the refund.
