A documentation reference to which commit you reverted would have been helpful. As an intermediate solution mounting a Windows shared folder (samba share) on linux might for you, but could also cause new troubles. |

I put back the original code in a version branch. The reverted code is in the
nonesection, because we'll need to figure out how to accommodate it.
