Is there any plan for docker-compose to support this engine ?

Is there any update or plan to support Apple’s new container engine in Docker Compose? This would be very helpful for Apple Silicon users looking for a native and efficient alternative to Docker.

Docker Compose relies on Moby API. Any container runtime which supports this API will benefit from Compose support. That's not (yet?) the case with Apple Container
