Help with pymobiledevice3 restore

Trying to update iPhone12 Pro from 16.3 to 16.3.1 with pymobiledevice3 restore update command. I've downloaded signed 16.3.1 ipsw and provided the path to .ipsw file in the command. However, I am getting an exception when device is going into Recovery:

Did I do something wrong? Am I missing something here, or there is a problem with pymobiledevice3 restore?

You need to install libusb backend, please refer to https://github.com/pyusb/pyusb#requirements-and-platform-support

brew install libusb

HI,
libusb was already installed (probably as a dependency for libimobiledevice...), however the problem was indeed libusb-related.
The libusb-1.0.dylib file should be in one of the paths searched by find_library() of the Python ctypes module on Mac OS.
I just symlinked the dylib from the lib folder of homebrew to /usr/local/lib:

sudo ln -s /opt/homebrew/Cellar/libusb/1.0.26/lib/libusb-1.0.dylib /usr/local/lib/libusb-1.0.dylib
