 Restrict the GitHub token permissions only to the required ones; this way, even if the attackers will succeed in compromising your workflow, they won’t be able to do much.

Thanks. Unless I'm mistaken, this workflow doesn't need any permissions (read or write) in any scope - so it should be possible to change the permissions setting to:

permissions: {}

As indicated in the docs.
