Merge initial set of typo fixes from master branch to v1.0.0 branch.

Merged Reuben Bond's fix to "ConfigUtilities.ParseTimeSpan overflows".
Remove superfluous spaces in using statements.
Changed fields MaxRetries and TimeSpan to read-only.
