There are some security issues discussed in THE NEW PAGE OF INJECTIONS BOOK: MEMCACHED INJECTIONS [pdf]. libmc follows the advice:

  1. Length is 250 bytes
  2. 0x00, 0x0a, 0x09, 0x0d,0x20 bytes filtration
