During testing of the Windows 1.4.0 version, a problem was encountered with Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) by Walter, K5WH. This was traced to b178f4f, a patch to filter out some unneeded sound card devices, and automate detection of the same USB sound cards in different orders.

This PR removes this patch temporarily, to allow testing of FreeDV 1.4.0 to continue.

The features of this patch are still needed, it would be great to get to the root cause of the interaction with VAC.
