PM-UPDATE does not use modules custom project status url #1321

When attempting to do an update from an offsite module it doesn't respect the "project status url" variable within the info file of the module. But, drupal site does notice that there are appropriate updates.

Am I missing anything here? I can set --source with pm-download option but can't set a source with pm-update.
