Hi Dom, While I routinely compile/run MET on my Mac, I do so using GNU compilers installed via MacPorts or HomeBrew. As you've found, we have not ported MET over to the Clang compiler on Mac. It would be very easy to work around those specific compiler errors you list... Replacing...

But the trouble is that once you start pulling on that thread, you don't know how long or difficult it'll end up being. @jprestop and @TaraJensen, any input, perspective, or advice on porting MET over to the Clang compiler, which is very widely used on Mac? |

I am closing this discussion, given that the code was fixed recently and an issue was created to add clang to the CI tests. Thanks for everyone who worked on this. |
