Formalising and communicating our culture

So far our culture at dwyl has been one that we have created together, based on simple values (https://dwyl.com/values), guided by a strong contributing process and
enacted through the amount of resources we put into our learning materials, the actions of each one of us and a quality tech stack.

This had been working well until earlier this year but it's time to formalise this in some way without losing it's magic and better communicate it.

Proposed first steps:

• Spike to research how other companies communicate their culture
• @iteles to make an offline list (committed but not pushed) of her insights on this
• Hold mini session after a Friday learning session when a group of us are together already, to determine what dwylers feel our current values and culture are/is - this will give us a better idea of what we are 'putting out there' and whether it is in fact a cohesive picture or not!
  • Prepare a series of questions and examples to help with this
  • Book the date
• Synthesise the results of this and match this against what we would like the values we communicate to be
• Prepare a plan for how to communicate these (dwyler handbook? Create Dwyler Handbook #242 instagram series? Social Media Plan #244 dwyl team outings? Monthly Organised "YOLO" Team-focussed Outings #148 on the website?)
