This works because the table of contents is always displayed in the left sidebar anyway.
The index page used to only consist of the ToC, which is not necessary because it's displayed in the left sidebar. This seems to work well as a replacement.
So that it's not blank, added a bullet list linking to each release notes document.
In the Furo doc theme these are no longer necessary since the local ToC is in the right sidebar.
I'm about to delete this copy of the strings docs, but first, this commit makes the two copies of the docs the same again.

These changes match using the Furo theme and a new (but probably temporary) organization of the documentation. Specifically, I made these changes while building the
website
docs withopendylan
manually cloned atwebsite/source/opendylan
. Once this commit is merged I'll addopendylan
as an actual submodule in that location.(I say it's probably temporary because I think what makes most sense is to move the
website
repository files into theopendylan/documentation/
directory but I didn't think of that until I was half done. It can wait.)
