Usermanager is not working

What is the problem

The user manager module doesn't allow users to be deleted and doesn't allow new users to log in.

What did you expect

I expected the scanuser to be able to log in and eric to be deleted.

Describe how to reproduce or add a test

I'm unsure on how to get this reproduce. I don't know XQuery. Is there an XQuery function that I can copy and paste into eXide? Let me know what information you need.

I'm guessing this #24 is related to to #32 (which is further referenced by other issues) Is there a practical or manual work around documented somewhere since the final merge might be a while? We are also experiencing it and just seems that it has been around in one form or the other for a while.
