Scorpion Engine is designed to be a fast, friendly and flexible game creation kit for the Commodore Amiga, Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, and SNK NeoGeo.

This is the experimental version of the Scorpion Engine 2024.1, which includes the latest-and-greatest features, but also is not well tested.

Please consider using the main repository, which is more comprehensively tested, and is recommended for new developers getting to grips with the engine as well as experienced developers close to developing a final game. More details, including acknowledgements for assets used in all of the demos, are also available there.
