Navbar UX Improvement Proposal (Spacing, Alignment & Visual Hierarchy) #280

Description

Summary

While exploring the project, I noticed that the current navbar could be improved in terms of spacing, alignment, and visual hierarchy. Although it is functional, the overall layout feels slightly unbalanced and could benefit from a cleaner structure to enhance user experience and first impressions.

Observations from Current Navbar

  • Navigation links (Catalogue, Fashion, Favourite, Lifestyle) feel tightly packed and lack clear spacing
  • The logo on the left and the navigation items on the right don’t feel visually aligned as a single cohesive unit
  • The “Sign Up” button draws attention, but its placement and spacing make the navbar feel right-heavy
  • Overall hierarchy between brand, navigation, and CTA could be clearer

Proposed Improvement

I am working on a redesigned navbar that:

  • Improves spacing and alignment between navigation items
  • Creates a clearer visual hierarchy between logo, menu items, and CTA
  • Balances the layout horizontally for a more polished look
  • Maintains the existing color palette and branding style

Additional Notes

I’d be happy to implement this redesign and submit a PR if the maintainers agree with the direction.
Open to feedback or suggestions before proceeding.
