There is already a category energy. A lot of devices that report the energy (the whole energy that has been consumed over the time), also report the (currently used) power. Perhaps an official category could be useful. Signed-off-by: Markus Rathgeb <maggu2810@gmail.com>

I'd suggest to group the discussion about new categories in #1475. Difference between energy and power might possible rather be relevant for #1093. |
