I am following the tutorial https://www.vogella.com/tutorials/Eclipse4CSS/article.html#exercise-define-a-custom-css-selector-and-css-property to add and use two properties 'border-color' and 'border-visible' to one of my widgets. We are using Eclipse R-4.23-202203080310. In my CSSHandler, when retrieving the properties from the widget, the returned value converter is null in this line: Well, without the converter, the value of the property cannot be retrieved from the widget. This is written exactly like in the example, and it does not mention any value converter that I would have to implement. When I initially implemented this four months ago, my implementation worked (iirc :)). Since then we have updated our bundles and versions a few times, so I am wondering if I am missing a bundle that provides the implementation for a ICSSValueConterter for strings? (We did not update our eclipse version since then.) We are including these bundles from org.eclipse.e4.ui.css: What could be wrong here? |

We upgraded to Eclipse 4.26 using
org.eclipse.e4.ui.css.core;version='[0.13.400,0.13.401)',
org.eclipse.e4.ui.css.swt;version='[0.14.700,0.14.701)',
org.eclipse.e4.ui.css.swt.theme;version='[0.13.200,0.13.201)',\
And this solved the problem.
