Problem Description

Currently the Sharepoint Server Connector can only crawl subsites like: https://example.org/sites/bar/, https://example.org/sites/foo/. However you can also create a site collection at the top level: https://example.org/, the current connector does not have the option to index the top level.

Proposed Solution

Be able to define the top level site collection in the already available comma-separated input list.

Alternatives

At the Sharepoint site move the site content from the top level site to a sublevel site-collection
