Description
Our Super Date Picker disables the Update button when I add an invalid start date like 1 year in the future. It doesn't provide a written error message or indication why I cannot proceed. Visually I can infer it's because I've entered a date range that's not possible, but I'd like to discuss adding an error message that can be announced to assistive technology as well as presented visually.

Duplicate of #4612 which provides a visual solution. I'm going to close this one and move the referenced Kibana issue there.
