Describe the bug
filter for value and filter out value are not working for lens visualization under cases tab

Build Details:

Version:8.0.0-SNAPSHOT

Browser Details:

Preconditions

  1. Elasticsearch should be up and running
  2. Kibana should be up and running.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Click on create new case.
  2. Add Visualization to the case description table.
  3. Click on the filter for value and filter out value for the data added while creating visualization.

Actual Result
filter for value and filter out value are not working for lens visualization under cases tab

Expected Result
User should be able to perform filter for value and filter out value operation for the data added under visualization.

By working on this bug we found two more bugs that we reported on the Lens team. Regarding cases, the issue has been mitigated accordingly.

Hi @cnasikas

We have validated this issue on 8.0.0-Branch and found that issue is fixed 🟢 , now filter in and filter out action are no longer showing under lens visualization.

Build Details:

Version: 8.0.0 master branch
