Describe the bug:

  • Red banner occurs when user add fields for Alerts table after hiding all the columns.

Build Details:

VERSION: 8.8.0
BUILD: 62703
COMMIT: 02fefd61f350082519f171413003685196013472

Preconditions

  • Alerts should be present on kibana instance.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Navigate to Security.
  • Navigate to Alerts tab.
  • Click Columns icon select Hide all option.
  • Now click on Fields option.
  • Select any field.

Actual Result

  • Red banner occurs when user add fields for Alerts table after hiding all the columns.

Expected Result

  • Red banner should not occurs.
  • User should be able to add the field.

Additional- Information

  • After logout and login again when we navigate to alerts page then Red banner occurs again.
  • We are able to navigate on other tabs of security solutions but whenever we try to navigate to alerts page we will see red banner.

@XavierM - can someone from response ops take a look? I think something is going on in general with the columns. See: #155991 as well
