Similar issue to #150187. The solution merged in 8.7, #150497, resolved the issue for most cases but not all.

Steps to view problem

  1. download world countries geojson from https://vector.maps.elastic.co/blob/5659313586569216?elastic_tile_service_tos=agree&license=643c1faf-80fc-4ab0-9323-4d9bd11f4bbc
  2. Create new map and upload world countries geojson file
  3. Play around with the zooming around Russia, notice the faint lines showing the tile boundaries
