Looks like there's an error with zeroclipboard or something in that chain.

Repro:

  • open Discover
  • open the spy
  • open the response tab
  • click the copy button

Does this bug also include the export button link? It also doesn't seem to be working.

@stormpython is it just not working, or does it produce an error? The not working part is probably a flash issue, which #1876 would fix, but that didn't make it in to Beta 2.

It simply didn't work. I created an issue for it, #1884. Feel free to close it if its a duplicate of whatever issue #1876 closes.

So this isn't exactly related to large content, I can get it to work fine with 500k of underscores. There's something else going on here.

remove request clipboard copying, in lieu of fixing elastic#1879 for now

We don't use zero clipboard now, so this isn't an issue anymore
