In the current version of Kibana, when expanding an event in the table, the expanded data is only utilizing the first column instead of the full table width. This results in some very poor formatting results especially when a narrow column is the first one, as is the case with the default logstash dashboard.

what browser is this in? I'm not seeing this behavior

This is in Firefox 24.0. Just confirmed that the issue does not exist under the latest Chromium. I don't have any other browsers handy to test at the moment.

I see this with Firefox 23. On IE9 and Chrome 28 is even worst. I have 4 columns and it pushed the 2 on the right off the page that I cannot see them.

You can reproduce when you have a very long message column.
