  • I have searched the issue tracker for an issue that matches the one I want to file, without success.

Why this? I setup a simple project with electron-webpack & it didn't give me an error which by the way can be found here. I don't why this error is thrown :(

We currently reccomend you pin your electron dependency so that you don't run in to side effects when new versions of Electron get released. This is historically because Electron < 2.0 didn't follow semver, there is a proposal to change how we handle this in a > 2.0 world #370
