Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable "rich text editor" in the "Lab";
  2. Use AnLink to connect to the phone and operate the phone on Windows PC;
  3. Press Ctrl + V on the Windows PC to try to paste.

Outcome

What did you expect?

Same effect as the old editor.

What happened instead?

Can't paste.
If you switch back to the old editor, you can paste it through the above method.

P.S.: AnLink is an auxiliary tool for controlling an Android phone on a Windows PC.

This will be fixed in a future version of the rich text editor library and included in the next Element Android versions. It's also related to #7420 because it's a bug affecting how we intercept HW keyboard input.
