wingpanel notification displays wrong program #11
Comments
Also, sending a notification with "notify-send" seems to work properly. It is displayed as coming from the program "other". Launchpad Details: #LPC Philippe - 2016-08-25 01:26:26 +0000 |

I understand that this is usually caused by faulty appdata from a third party app, see: |
The notification indicator in wingpanel often displays the wrong program as the one responsible for the notification.
Example:
When getting notification from my printer (out of paper, ...) or even "new updates available" from software centre, it is displayed under pyCharm.
Clicking on the notification opens pyCharm.
