How to set font families? (disable monospacing)

In the image above you can see 'battery' characters. The first 2 are of reasonable size, however, the third and fourth one's are wayy too small because of monospace.
I'm not knowledgeable in the whole font situation, but how do I fix this?
My guess is to switch font families, since they come from symbols nerd font and they provide a non-monospace .ttf file, but how would I do that in eww?
Perhaps someone would know an even better solution than changing font families?

Ok, definitely should stop procrastinating on learning css.
Just had to change font family for my box class (in where the label resides) in eww.scss.
