Read your favorite articles with a clean layout, easy to use application and with the possibility of Offline reading!

Getting Started

Download and read your Articles in a simple way. After the first download, your Articles will be free to read Offline.

Prerequisites

Available for devices that runs Jelly Bean (4.1) or newer versions of Android.

Installing

The BETA test is available. Please, send me an e-mail with the subject "Requesting Articles Beta Test" and with your Name in the content and a brief description of your usage for the application.
The installation procedure is handed by Fabric. Follow the steps that you will receive by e-mail.

Running

The application can be run in phones and tablets, and in portrait and landscape mode.
In the first run the app will download all the articles available, and you will see a "..." animation of loading, like the following:

If there was something wrong with the download or with your network connection, you may receive some error message. This is an example of network error:

After the download, all the articles will be available offline, so the starting splash screen will just fade and show you your articles, like this or with more info:

The articles are listed in the Main Screen, and you can access it's content just clicking in the desired item.
You can check any article as read in two different ways:

  1. At the screen with the Article content, in the "Mark as Read" checkbox, at the righ-bottom of the screen.
  2. At the Main Screen, swiping the desired article to right, and clicking in the "Read" checkbox; The articles marked as read will be show at the main list in grayscale.

The articles are sort by date in ascending mode, by default, but you can set to sort them by:

  1. Date
  2. Website
  3. Labels
  4. Title
  5. Author

Also, you can set the sorting to be in descending mode.
The sorting type (Date, Website, etc...) and the ording mode (ascending or descending) are reflected in the menu title.
