Gphoto2 and libGphoto2 compiler and installer script http://github.com/gonzalo/gphoto2-updater
This script allows to install last development and last stable releases of gphoto2 and libgphoto2 based on git repositories
This script was initially created for Raspbian http://www.raspbian.org and Raspberry Pi http://www.raspberrypi.org but it is also tested for: Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04, 18.04 and Debian 7, 8 and 9.

Special thanks to @scribblemaniac for his support on this project.
To download and compile last script version just be sure you are connected to the Internet and run:
$ wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/gonzalo/gphoto2-updater/master/gphoto2-updater.sh && chmod +x gphoto2-updater.sh && sudo ./gphoto2-updater.sh
Then select between stable and development version
Check releases https://github.com/gonzalo/gphoto2-updater/releases
Thanks to amazing work of @scribblemaniac new pulls are automatically tested using Travis CI over different OS. Take a look to the .travis.yml file. Currently testing compilation over Raspbian takes too much time to Travis CI, it should be included in the future. Anyway, successful compilation over Debian should guarantee that it should work over Raspbian.
