Panic in flashinit fails to generate stack dump

• Module: Generic ESP8266 Module
• Flash Mode: dio
• Flash Size: 1MB
• lwip Variant: v2 Lower Memory
• Reset Method: nodemcu
• Flash Frequency: 40Mhz
• CPU Frequency: 80Mhz
• Upload Using: SERIAL
• Upload Speed: 115200 (serial upload only)

Problem Description

When using FLASH_MAP_SUPPORT with a custom table and the real flash size is missing from the table panic() is called.
However, no stack dump is printed.

The problem is all the GPIO pins are reset turning off the serial interface before flashinit() is called,
