commented back in a piece of code, that was previously commented out and is required
How to verify it
run the commands mentioned in the issue with and without the code. the latter will fail. Of course having automated tests for the hardhat integration with windows would be the way to go, but since there is no previous work that I could start off with, I decided to pass on that.
Linting checks in hardhat.py fails (mypy has a complaint about the type in line 96), but that line was untouched by me.
