Greetings! I'm trying to make an event listener of my smart contract with ethers v6, but I'm getting an error.

It should detect unsupported neeFilter and downgrade to polling, but it looks like the error isn’t getting coalesced… I’ll look into this soon.

Could you include a value for MUMBAI_URL that emits this error, so I can verify any fix works? Also if there is a CONTRACT_ADDRESS that has a lot of "Transfer" events on Mumbai, that would be helpful too.

I don't know if there is any contract that emits transfer events in Mumbai unfortunately.

I found this contract on polygon mumbai, it generates Transfer events frequently:

I've added this to the error coalescence in v6.6.2. It should now correctly detect newFilter is not supported on these backends. :)
