I want to join this call for Parity Ethereum but I would need a TL;DR on current 2.0 research/spec status, where can I find that or where shall I get started? Any pointers appreciated (Eth1.0 keeps me busy enough).

Unfortunately, Harmony team won't attend this call.
Last two weeks, we've been working on state transition ethereum/ethereumj#1177. It includes basic dynasty transition logic and gonna be featured with committees shuffling in short time. This update doesn't include attesters which are a part of next milestone according to our roadmap.
During the previous call I mentioned that it would be great to outline an updated beacon chain DB scheme that is more suitable for clients. But while working on state transition we came to conclusion that it requires more insight to get there.
