The services install script was removing the .pkgver file after it has been created, therefore preventing the uninstall to work.
With this fix I was able to uninstall Services.

For already installed services, upload the new script, and launch it twice (one to overwrite the install and one to uninstall)

Hi,
I have the v8 of the services app. Tried uninstalling the services, but it just offers to re-install.

Ended up unstalling jailbreak, nevertheless. And updating HD3 to the latest .4078. (Probably not a smart move.)

Device still works, even if the .4078 update nagged about some remnants of jailbreak and couldn't finalize neatly. There's a permanent notification of the new software update. When I try, HD 3 realizes it's already up-to-date.

Could there be a way to re-install, then uninstall the services? Would factory reset help?

Jailbreak installs and uninstalls itself ok.
