Thanks for the detailed information! What I notice from your screenshots is that your ISP-supplied router is talking IGMPv3, whereas igmpproxy can currently only talk IGMPv3. If you try the latest version of |

Interesting, it seems like it is not responding to the IGMPv3 packets. Have you tried adding firewall entries already (I can't think of anything else)? https://supportblog.ch/init7-tv7-auf-unifi-security-gateway-usg-einrichten/ |

I have just recently changed to UDM Pro and couldn't get TV7 to work. While searching for a solution I found this great extension by @fabianishere and then this discussion which actually solved my problem too. So, init7 requires improxy plus the firewall rules. Thanks also to @raphaelknechtli for investigating! |

After testing it for some time, I can confirm that TV7 (IPTV offering of Init7, ISP from Switzerland) works with the Regarding Regarding the now natively available IPTV feature of Ubiquiti UniFi, no additional firewall rules need to be set. The UniFi Network Application will automatically add the required firewall rules upon activating the IPTV feature. |

Hey @raphaelknechtli Does the new IPTV feature still work for you? A few weeks ago the IGMP proxy function was available on my UDM Pro, but now it seems to have disappeared. :-( |

I'm currently trying to get this to work as well and came across this: https://www.init7.net/en/support/faq/mit-welchen-uebertragungsarten-funktionieren-die-tv-streams/ (turn on nerd mode in the bottom left of the page) Content: The IPs in this example seem to be different from the ones in the Init7 profile in this repo and in the screenshots above. Would they need to be adjusted? When looking at their m3u playlist https://api.init7.net/tvchannels.m3u the IP also seems to match the new I have tried a few options, however no luck so far. |

I also have it working natively since months. IP addresses might only change if you want to use HLS instead of multicast. I still have the firewall rules in place and I also believe that they are still required. |

Make sure you try from a compatible client capable of receiving multicast correctly. I eventually tested this from the TV7 App on a Chromecast with Google TV (using similar firewall rules as you have, and native IPTV Streaming) and noticed it worked flawlessly. I was previously using a Macbook Pro with VLC and couldn't receive anything. It seems like Apple may be doing some weird stuff with multicast for iOS, which I'm not sure it affects MacOS too. I didn't investigate further since I anyway don't plan to use the Macbook as a client, but sharing here in case you may be doing the same looking for the issue in your config vs. your client. |
