Im using the Firebase web SDK.

Ive wrapped an API call that throws an Exception in a try catch block, but my code can never catch the exception it throws:

Why is this?

Environment

  • iOS Simulator
  • RN: 0.55.3
  • Firebase 5.5.2
  • [skip envinfo]
