why is NSM relevant here?
did you tried without it and it worked?

Maybe not relevant indeed, did not try without nsm

I'm able to reproduce and found the issue.
The drmr plugin is broken.
Did anyone actually used it? Loading and saving state is broken for all hosts...

I'll fix drmr, update the kxstudio packages and send a github pull request upstream

Fixed in nicklan/drmr#12
Fixed kxstudio packages will be avaiable soon.
