Hi there! 👋🏼 I'm Felipe Lamarca and...

I am a data scientist from the School of Applied Mathematics (FGV EMAp) and a social scientist from the Superior School of Social Sciences (FGV CPDOC). I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 🇧🇷, and I'm a proud Carioca.

I'm mainly interested in the following topics:

  • Statistics, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning
  • Computational Social Sciences, Political Science, and Public Policy
  • AI Safety and Governance
  • Open source tools and reproducible research
