Hi there 👋

My name is Anna and I work as a Data Scientist at OYM since May 2023, where I analyze elite athletes data to enhance their performance and health. I have been working at CERN for several years, on the development of a platform to foster openness and reproducibility in science.

During my Ph.D in Computer Science, I explored state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning techniques for Human Activity Recognition. Here my publication list.

I spent the last year of my Ph.D (2019-2020) at CERN, exploring how wearable devices can help patients affected from Parkinson's disease to monitor their medicaments, well-being and rehabilitation. Here an article related to wearable devices and smart diagnosis.

Before my Ph.D, I have been working as a Statistician for many years, applying hypothesis testing and predictive models mainly in healthcare.
