Website changes

  • Iconography (own images and/or attribution)
  • Use case updates
  • Transfer latest from use case repo
    • Remove people lists from use case overview
      • Remove all but accepted use cases (talk to JT, Saori, Kat, Johan, Riko this week!)
  • Add links to working group wikis into Community section
  • Move why FDC3 to about section
  • Updates to Why FDC3, Intents Overview, and Context Overview (Nick)
  • Add get involved CTA (fdc3@finos.org) to Community, footer
  • Add Docusaurus versioning
  • Add "Used by" section to front page

Repo changes

  • tag version 1.0-beta + release notes

  • Make sure news works with versioning

Create 1.0-beta version of FDC3 docs

Addresses website versioning aspect of finos#32
- Used `yarn examples versions` and `yarn run version 1.0-beta` commands to create
- All documentation files have been copied to `website\versioned_docs\version-1.0-beta`
- Future versions will only copy changed documents
- Current master documentation available at http://fdc3.finos.org/docs/next/fdc3-intro

As part of the overall go-live check-list for FDC3 1.0, it would be helpful for everyone to review and refresh themselves on the Activation stage (stage before release).

Here is the board approved active participation policy -- context and a consideration for what logos appear.

Here is the alpha version of the active participation report for FDC3 -- related to topic of active participation.

At our 3/14 meeting decision on including logos on fdc3.finos.org was

  • Any active participant orgs per the active participation policy who are also FINOS members are automatically included.
  • Any active participant orgs per the active participation policy who are NOT FINOS members may opt-in to have their logos included.
  • Logo order will be function of FINOS member metals (Platinum -> Gold -> Silver -> At Large), and then non-member participating orgs; within these respective groups logos will be alphabetical.
